Two iconic saxophonists—Branford Marsalis and Charles Lloyd—share the stage for a rare co-bill, on June 28 at Town Hall, that spans the full spectrum of jazz expression. A three-time Grammy winner and NEA Jazz Master, Marsalis moves effortlessly between jazz, classical, and Broadway, leading his renowned quartet with unmatched clarity and power for over three decades. His latest project reimagines Keith Jarrett’s Belonging for Blue Note Records. Sharing the spotlight is fellow NEA Jazz Master Charles Lloyd, whose deeply spiritual and genre-transcending work has defined him as one of the most expressive voices in modern music.
