James Jordan is a New Orleans-based vocalist whose wide-ranging sound blends R&B, funk. and swing into a rich, soulful experience. Known for his vocal versatility and intimate performance style, the DC-born musician captures and invites the listener to reflect and allow themselves to feel the depth of their emotions. His debut album, Reflections, is set to release January 2026 with his full band, James Jordan and The Situation. The 9-song project connects “almost love” to acceptance and victory through infectious horn lines, intoxicating grooves, and Jordan’s voice tying it all together. The record represents an understanding how our stories are simply fractions of our whole selves and how their acceptance is the only way to grow.
