“Blues, ballads and boisterous good fun!” That’s how internationally renowned jazz guitarist Mimi Fox describes Acoustic Sisters, a new duo project with blues/jazz singer Pamela Rose. An intimate evening of duets, steeped in early blues, folk and original material, the set brings together two long-time collaborators and friends who share unparalleled communication onstage.

Mimi Fox has been named a winner in the DownBeat Magazine International Critic Poll six consecutive times and has been recognized by writers and colleagues alike as one of the most eloquent guitarists on today’s scene. Pamela Rose is a San Francisco jazz and blues vocalist who has thrilled audiences internationally with her swinging, soulful style. Rose is also known for her concerts and lectures celebrating remarkable women in blues and jazz, most recently touring with her Blues is a Woman ensemble show.
