What started as a tribute to a young king, Jakobi RA, whose life was tragically cut short, has grown into a vibrant celebration of life, love, and liberation. Founded by Mama Shu, the visionary behind Avalon Village and a 2023 CNN Hero, this annual tradition brings together thousands to dance, connect, and carry forward a legacy of purpose- this event is a neighborhood staple. 🎤
