A prodigious guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Corey Harris’ music extends beyond traditional blues as he integrates influences from reggae, soul, rock, and West African music into his compositions. Harris was featured in the Martin Scorsese documentary “Feel Like Going Home” in 2003. In 2007 he was honored with a MacArthur Fellowship, commonly known as the “genius grant,” for his innovative and eclectic approach to music.
