Trumpeter and vocalist Danny Jonokuchi brings a wide-ranging creative voice to Dizzy’s, blending swing-era tradition with a modern sensibility shaped by his work as a composer, arranger, and producer. Joined by Hyuna Park on piano, Liany Mateo on bass, and Kevin Congleton on drums, Jonokuchi leads a dynamic group that expands across the weekend with guest saxophonist Jonathan Beshay on tenor saxophone and clarinet on Jan. 17, and a guest saxophonist on Jan. 15. Recognized for his work on two GRAMMY Award–winning projects and praised for his “world-class arrangements” (Broadway World), Jonokuchi arrives with a sound rooted in versatility, craftsmanship, and deep respect for the jazz tradition.

Note: Friday night features a Vocal Jam Session hosted by Simona Daniele, welcoming singers and musicians of all levels to join the stage. Saturday features a Late-Night Dance Session. Thursday is a featured performance only.
