DEFROST! is an elevated after-hours gathering bringing together contemporary art, music, and culture in the heart of Los Angeles during Frieze Week. Hosted at MTLE Studios, this inside-outside experience blends curated gallery exhibitions with high-energy, open-air programming—where the gallery meets the block party.
Guests can expect a carefully curated lineup of visual artists, live art activations, DJs, and performances. Creative direction, programming, and production are led by Blackbird Studios, with music curated by Familiar Faces. The event brings together visual artists, live art activations, DJs, and performances for a culture-forward audience of creatives and tastemakers, alongside popular Los Angeles–based food vendors on-site throughout the night.
