This powerful night blends live music, spoken word, and cultural reflection to raise funds for the Temescal Roots Project, a public monument honoring the Black Panther Party, created by Oakland artist Shomari Smith, and set to debut in Temescal.

Expect a lineup of Bay Area musicians, DJs, and poets, with performances recorded and released as part of the Homies YouTube series, ultimately connecting Oakland’s legacy with a global audience.
