La Cecille, formerly known as Supercoolwicked (Morgan Hutson), is a multidisciplinary Detroit artist (Morgan Cecille Hutson) known for music, film, and performance that blends Black history, storytelling, and liberation, often using spirituals as a base for experimental sounds, and is celebrated for honoring inner child work and African American heritage.
The Eastside Banda is a guitar-centered ensemble and collective founded by Sasha Kashperko on Detroit’s Eastside. The group specializes in blending Detroit jazz traditions with Eastern European and Russian Chanson
