Marmalade and Listening Room are two popular jam series in Toronto that bring the music community together to play and improvise the sounds of Jazz, Fusion, and Neo-Soul respectively. For this special night, Davie Studios will host a 15-piece mega band to jam around the innovative music of Robert Glasper. His music is a cosmic jam between Hip Hop, Jazz, R&B and Soul. For these jam sessions we’ll be working our way through his extensive catalog and pulling a lot of inspiration from his Black Radio records. As Marmalade is our charitable jam of Davie Studios, we will continue our efforts to raise money for Palestinians affected by the ongoing genocide through Davenport Aid Brigade:

Founded in June 2024, Davenport Aid Brigade is a grassroots organization with teams working in Toronto, Cairo, and Gaza. Beginning out of the Davenport 4 Palestine neighborhood riding group, the brigade emerged through applying the principles of mutual aid to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and their struggle for national liberation. Funds raised by the Davenport Aid Brigade are distributed directly to Palestinian families by the teams on the ground.
