Italian reggae band Mellow Mood takes the stage on their tour celebrating their latest album 7! Join us for their 20-year anniversary on Wednesday July 9th at SOB’s, NYC’s home of reggae since 1982.

Formed in 2005, Mellow Mood is led by twins Jacopo and Lorenzo Garzia, the band has gained international recognition since their official debut in 2009, thanks to their highly acclaimed live performances, and to the web, where some of their tracks have racked up tens of millions of views on YouTube (Dance Inna Babylon, Inna Jamaica, Sound of a War). Over the past 20 years, Mellow Mood performed at some of the most important music festivals worldwide, such as Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Eurockéennes (France), California Roots (USA), and Jamming Festival (Colombia). Since 2015, they run the independent record label La Tempesta Dub together with the Italian producer Paolo Baldini DubFiles. The band collaborates with countless international artists (Anthony B, Kabaka Pyramid, Konshens, Tanya Stephens, Jah9, Hempress Sativa, Richie Campbell, Sr. Wilson, and more) and has released seven albums so far, numerous singles and dub versions of their records. Mellow Mood’s latest album ‘7’ was released on 11th April 2025.
