Scattrbrain is the full-band alter ego of Atlanta-based artist GRIP, the acclaimed rapper and songwriter known for his gritty lyricism, sharp social commentary and raw emotional depth. After emerging from Atlanta’s hip-hop underground and signing with Eminem’s Shady Records, GRIP created Scattrbrain as a new outlet for experimentation, rebellion and reinvention.

Created alongside Grouplove bassist Daniel Gleason, producer/engineer T.J. Elias and a cast of Atlanta collaborators, the project draws from post-punk, grunge, hardcore and DIY influences while keeping GRIP’s singular storytelling at its core.

The debut album, Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt, is a cinematic, cathartic exploration of burnout, identity, addiction, industry disillusionment and self-doubt. It’s not rap with guitars—it’s rage with purpose, built for chaos and catharsis.
