Shaun Milli

@ City Winery

11 W. Riverwalk South, Chicago, IL 60601, USA

Wednesday August 26, 2026

07:30 PM - 11:00 pm

Shaun Milli is 28 years old and already writing the kind of R&B that stays with you. His 2021 breakout “Love Me,” a melancholic, blues-tinged meditation on longing, earned Song of the Year at the Radio and Records Awards and introduced a voice with a depth that didn’t match his age. It still doesn’t, and that remains the point.

The catalog he has built since proves the debut was no accident. “Selfish,” “Let Go,” “Blow My Mind,” “Shot Clock,” and “Reservations” trace the emotional architecture of someone who understands that the best soul music is specific enough to feel personal and universal enough to feel shared. His following has grown the way devoted audiences tend to, through word of mouth and repeat listening rather than algorithmic placement.

Now with a new album on the way in 2026 and a run of live dates behind it, Milli arrives in Chicago at the right moment. A seated room, wine poured to the table, and an artist performing material that rewards the kind of attention this setting makes possible.

For R&B listeners who found him early, this is the show you have been anticipating. For those arriving new, the voice will do the rest of the work.
