Christian Gates—professionally The Philharmonik—is an acclaimed vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, lyricist, and producer who blends classical training with modern soul, R&B, and hip-hop. Hailing from Cleveland and raised in Sacramento, his 2018 self-titled debut and 2022’s Kironic explore heartfelt narratives through genre-bending soundscapes. His track What’s It All Mean? recently earned both the 2023 American Songwriter Contest and NPR’s 2024 Tiny Desk Contest honors.
