Pianist Tom McDermott—a St. Louis-born New Orleans transplant whose mastery spans ragtime, traditional jazz, Brazilian choros and funk — brings his deep roots in the Crescent City’s musical heritage and his ever-curious stylistic explorations. Tom blends tradition with innovation, offering a rich musical conversation that combines playful spontaneity and emotional depth. McDermott will be playing all original music.
