MBT (MajicBulletTheory) electrifies Long Beach with their signature blend of funk, hip hop and jazz, all under the creative direction of musician, composer, producer, and bandleader, Dave Williams. His artistry has caught the attention of civic leaders and local media, including a feature in Palacio Magazine and the Long Beach Post. In 2020, his image lit up a busy intersection as part of a campaign celebrating the city’s vibrance and diversity. Regular collaborators include Blues and spoken word artist, Shy but Flyy, turntablist DJ S.O.U.L-O., soul crooner, Chad Bishop and more. For more than ten years, Williams has drawn comparisons to 1970s-era Miles Davis for his bold tone and bandleader direction.
